Sold price

Also called realized price, hammer price

The sold price is the amount a watch actually changed hands for. At auction it's often called the hammer price or, including fees, the realized price.

Sold prices are the most reliable evidence of value, because they reflect a real buyer's decision. For auctions, check whether the published figure includes the buyer's premium, since that changes the comparison.

When building a sale estimate, weight recent sold prices from your own channel most heavily, and adjust for differences in condition and accessories.
