The site offers free tools and information: a max buy calculator, a compliance checker, state and city compliance guides, articles, a glossary, and a paperwork kit of document templates. There are no accounts and nothing to buy. Some tools ask for your email before you can download from them; our Privacy Policy explains what we do with it.

Everything here is general information, meant to help you understand your options. It isn’t legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and using the site doesn’t create an attorney-client or any other professional relationship.

Rules differ by state and city and change over time, marketplace fees change, and every deal is different. The calculator’s results are estimates based on the numbers you enter, and its fee presets are starting points to check against your own current rates. Guides show the date they were last verified; confirm anything important with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.

The paperwork kit provides templates. You decide what goes in them and whether they suit your business and your state, and you’re responsible for the documents you create and how you use them. We don’t promise that any template is enforceable or right for a particular situation. For agreements that create obligations, such as the consignment agreement, we recommend having a lawyer review your version.

The documents you create are yours to use however you like in your own business. Their contents stay in your browser; we don’t receive or store them.

You’re welcome to use the site for your own business. Please don’t:

• use it, or anything you create with it, for fraud or anything unlawful
• try to disrupt the site, get around its security, or overload it with automated requests
• copy or republish substantial parts of the guides, articles, or glossary as your own

Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine. The site’s text, design, and code belong to WristBook LLC.

This site is made by the team behind WristBook, dealer software sold by WristBook LLC. Some pages mention it, and wherever a link points to it we say so right next to the link. No one pays for placement anywhere on the site, and the guides and articles don’t change based on what we sell.

Guides and articles link to government offices, marketplaces, and other outside sites. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep it accurate and working, but we don’t guarantee that it’s complete, current, error-free, or always available, and to the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

To the fullest extent the law allows, WristBook LLC isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the site or anything you create with it. You use the site, and make your business decisions, at your own risk. Some places don’t allow certain of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

We may update the site and these terms. When we change the terms we’ll update the date at the top; continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
