Lug width
Lug width is the distance between the lugs where the strap or bracelet attaches, usually stated in millimetres.
It determines which straps and bracelets will fit. For a dealer, it matters when you're sourcing a replacement strap or describing a watch for buyers who want to change it.
Measure it rather than assuming. It's a simple detail that prevents returns from buyers who bought a watch to fit a strap they already own.
Unusual lug widths can make replacement straps harder to find, which is worth noting when a watch is sold on a worn or aftermarket strap.
