Purchase report
Also called police report of purchase, transaction report
A purchase report is a record of a secondhand purchase that some jurisdictions require a dealer to submit to local police, usually describing the item and identifying the seller.
Deadlines and methods vary: some cities use an online portal, others a paper form or a weekly logbook, and some require no report at all. The report often starts the clock on a holding period.
Find your city's requirement in the compliance guides, and keep your own copy of every report with the watch's records.
