Aged inventory
Also called aging inventory, stale inventory
Aged inventory is stock that has sat unsold for longer than you planned, tying up money and adding carrying cost every day it remains.
Aged watches are rarely worth holding out for the original target. The longer they sit, the more they've already cost, and the money in them could be working in a faster deal.
Track how long each watch has been in stock, review the oldest pieces regularly, and reprice them or move them to a faster channel rather than waiting.
