Box and papers
Also called B&P
Box and papers is shorthand for a watch that comes with its original presentation box and its papers, usually the warranty card or certificate issued at the original sale.
Of the two, the papers usually matter more. A matching card ties the watch to a documented sale, which reassures buyers about where it came from and makes it easier for them to sell on later. A box on its own mostly adds completeness.
When a listing or a seller says box and papers, confirm both are original to this watch rather than borrowed from another piece, and photograph the card beside the serial when you take the watch in.
