Watch only
Also called naked watch, head only
Watch only describes a watch sold without its box, papers, or other accessories, just the watch itself on its bracelet or strap.
A watch-only piece can be a perfectly good buy, but it usually sells for less than the same reference with its full set, and some buyers will ask more questions about its history. Price it from completed sales of other watch-only examples, not from full-set prices.
Missing papers make your own intake checks more important: confirm the serial and reference, inspect it closely, and record where the seller got it.
