Modified watch

Also called modded, custom watch

A modified watch is one that has been altered from its factory specification, for example with an aftermarket dial, added gem-setting, a coating, or a changed bezel.

Modifications can suit a particular buyer but generally narrow the market and reduce resale value compared with an original example. They can also affect whether the manufacturer will service the watch.

Price a modified watch as what it is, not as the original reference, and describe every change plainly in your listing.
