Super clone is a slang term for a high-quality counterfeit watch that closely copies the genuine article's appearance and sometimes the look of its movement.
They can pass a casual inspection, which makes them a real risk for dealers buying from the public. Details that are hard to copy, such as the movement's finishing and markings, engravings, and the precise weight and feel, are where they usually give themselves away.
When a deal on a popular reference looks too good, treat authentication as essential before any money changes hands.
